Wine Selection: White Wine - Chardonnay
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Decoration: c.f. picture below
Ingredients:
> 1 bread baguette
> 2 ounces of unsalted butter (preferably Lurpak or President)
> Half a pint of heavy whipped cream
> Fresh dill leaves
> 3 ounces of black caviar (preferably white sturgeon caviar)
> 16 ounces of wild smoked salmon
> 2 lemons
Preparation:
> Slice the bread at 45degree angle, with a thickness of 1/5 inch
> Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
> Put the sliced bread in the oven for 6 minutes
> Take out the bread from the over and let is cool for a while
> Heat at a low temperature the butter until it melts
> Add the melted butter to the bread
> Put the heavy whipped cream in a bowl
> Start whipping the cream with hand mixer until it solidifies
> Put some solidified cream on the bread
> Put some dill leaves on the bread
> Slice the smoked salmon and add it to the bread
> Press the lemon
> Mix the lemon juice with the caviar
> Add some caviar on top of the bread
You should have now a piece of art similar to the one in the picture below:
